Last month, I visited a grand village fair held on the occasion of Rath Yatra in our neighboring village. I went there in the evening with my parents. The fairground was beautifully decorated with colorful lights and crowded with people of all ages. There were many temporary stalls selling toys, sweets, balloons, and handicrafts. The loud sound of music and the joyful shouting of children filled the air. I bought some beautiful toys and tasted delicious sweets like Jalebi and Rasgulla. The most exciting part was riding the giant merry-go-round, which thrilled me completely. We returned home late at night with happy memories of the lively fair.
