Model Paragraph
West Bengal is a land of festivals. Among them, Durga Puja is the greatest and most joyful festival of the Bengalis. It is celebrated in the autumn season, usually in September or October. During these four days, the entire state wears a festive look. Streets and pandals are beautifully decorated with colorful lights. People wear new clothes and visit different pandals with family and friends to worship Goddess Durga. It is a time of great joy, devotion, and togetherness. Schools and offices remain closed. The festival ends with the immersion of the idols in the river on Dashami. Durga Puja brings people of all religions together and spreads the message of love and peace.
