Model Paragraph
Honesty means being truthful and sincere in words and actions. It is rightly said that “Honesty is the best policy”. An honest person is always respected and trusted by everyone in society. Honesty builds a strong character and gives us the courage to face the truth. It brings mental peace and self-satisfaction. If we are honest, we do not need to hide anything or feel afraid. Although dishonest people may gain temporary success, it does not last long. On the contrary, an honest person may face difficulties initially but finds long-term happiness. We must cultivate the habit of honesty to become good human beings and build a better society.

সততা মানে কথা ও কাজে সত্যবাদী এবং আন্তরিক হওয়া। যথার্থই বলা হয় যে “সততাই সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট পন্থা”। সমাজে একজন সৎ ব্যক্তিকে সর্বদা সবাই শ্রদ্ধা ও বিশ্বাস করে। সততা একটি শক্তিশালী চরিত্র গড়ে তোলে এবং সত্যের মুখোমুখি হওয়ার সাহস জোগায়। এটি মানসিক শান্তি এবং আত্মতৃপ্তি এনে দেয়। আমরা যদি সৎ হই, তবে আমাদের কিছু লুকানোর বা ভয় পাওয়ার প্রয়োজন হয় না। যদিও অসৎ ব্যক্তিরা সাময়িক সাফল্য পেতে পারে, তবে তা দীর্ঘস্থায়ী হয় না। অন্যদিকে, একজন সৎ ব্যক্তিকে শুরুতে অসুবিধার সম্মুখীন হতে হলেও তিনি দীর্ঘমেয়াদী সুখ খুঁজে পান। ভালো মানুষ হওয়ার জন্য এবং একটি উন্নত সমাজ গড়ার জন্য আমাদের অবশ্যই সততার অভ্যাস গড়ে তুলতে হবে।

- সততা যে কেবল ব্যক্তিগত গুণ নয়, বরং সমাজের জন্য কতটা প্রয়োজন তা উল্লেখ করবে।
- খুব কঠিন ইংরেজি শব্দের পরিবর্তে ‘truthful’, ‘courage’, ‘contentment’ বা ‘respect’-এর মতো সাধারণ কিন্তু মানানসই শব্দ ব্যবহার করবে।
