Model Paragraph
India is a land of ancient and rich culture. It is one of the oldest cultures in the world. The most important feature of Indian culture is ‘Unity in Diversity’. People of different religions, languages, and castes live here together peacefully. They celebrate various festivals, wear different clothes, and eat different foods. Yet, they are all united as Indians. Our culture teaches us tolerance, respect for elders, and love for nature. We welcome guests as God, which is known as ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’. Despite many foreign invasions in the past, our cultural heritage remains strong and pure. I am very proud of my great Indian culture.

ভারত প্রাচীন ও সমৃদ্ধ সংস্কৃতির দেশ। এটি বিশ্বের অন্যতম প্রাচীন সংস্কৃতি। ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতির সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো ‘বৈচিত্র্যের মাঝে ঐক্য’। বিভিন্ন ধর্ম, ভাষা ও বর্ণের মানুষ এখানে একসঙ্গে শান্তিতে বসবাস করে। তারা বিভিন্ন উৎসব উদযাপন করে, বিভিন্ন পোশাক পরে এবং বিভিন্ন খাবার খায়। তবুও, ভারতীয় হিসেবে তারা সবাই ঐক্যবদ্ধ। আমাদের সংস্কৃতি আমাদের সহনশীলতা, গুরুজনদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা এবং প্রকৃতির প্রতি ভালোবাসা শেখায়। আমরা অতিথিদের ঈশ্বরের মতো স্বাগত জানাই, যা ‘অতিথি দেবো ভব’ নামে পরিচিত। অতীতে অনেক বিদেশি আগ্রাসন সত্ত্বেও, আমাদের সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য শক্তিশালী এবং খাঁটি রয়ে গেছে। আমার মহান ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতি নিয়ে আমি অত্যন্ত গর্বিত।

এই প্যারাগ্রাফটি আমাদের দেশ ও তার চিরন্তন সংস্কৃতি নিয়ে লেখা, তাই এটি মূলত Simple Present Tense (যেমন: is, live, celebrate, teaches)-এ লেখা হয়েছে। অতীতের কথা বোঝাতে “in the past” ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। বাক্যের সৌন্দর্য বাড়াতে ‘Yet’, ‘Despite’, এবং ‘which is’-এর মতো Connectors ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, যা লেখার মান উন্নত করে।
পরীক্ষায় বেশি নম্বর পাওয়ার টিপস
- প্যারাগ্রাফটি সব সময় একটিমাত্র অনুচ্ছেদে লিখবে, কোনোভাবেই মাঝখানে প্যারা চেঞ্জ করবে না।
- প্রশ্নে দেওয়া প্রতিটি পয়েন্ট (hints) যেন তোমার লেখার মধ্যে পর্যায়ক্রমে প্রকাশ পায়।
- ‘Unity in Diversity’ বা ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’-এর মতো ফ্রেজ ব্যবহার করলে পরীক্ষক লেখার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হবেন।
- খুব কঠিন শব্দের পরিবর্তে ‘tolerance’, ‘heritage’, ‘ancient’-এর মতো মানানসই ও প্রাসঙ্গিক শব্দ ব্যবহার করবে।
- প্যারাগ্রাফের শেষে নিজের দেশের সংস্কৃতির প্রতি গর্ববোধ প্রকাশ করে একটি সুন্দর উপসংহার লিখবে।
